Executive Leadership Skills
Anybody who is placed in the position of being responsible for a project or group of individuals without being provided the necessary leadership tools will find himself/herself overwhelmed quickly. There are very few “natural leaders”. Leadership is a skill that can be learned. Many of those skills are dormant within us and require some coaxing to surface. The many facets of being a well-rounded executive and of creating a productive and positive work environment are explored with clients. Strategies for bringing about the desired results are then agreed upon, implemented and measured. Whether it be one-on-one or through a workshop setting the following subjects will be explored:
- Creating and communicating your vision;
- Becoming aware of the “big picture”;
- Using values as your compass;
- Leaders vs managers;
- Building a strong team;
- Happiness as a factor in productivity;
- Leadership and coaching;
- Creating a coaching culture in your organization;
- Building rapport;
- The importance of Emotional Intelligence;
- Effective communication, the successful leader’s secret weapon;
- Creating your success rituals.
